Legend of the High Guardian, a Dragon Song Legend
Written by Hugh D. Martin
Created by Anna J. Flores
Epilogue
Though the dark ones had been destroyed forever, the story of the High Guardian does not end with her victory. Dracona and her followers returned to Vadian, and at the site of the mighty celestium crystal that had so entranced Maferath, they built a shining tower of pure crystal, a throne of light from which the High Guardian could rule over a new empire, one founded by virtue instead of darkness. For countless millennia, the High Guardian ruled her people, with an empire that grew to encompass half the world. But that, of course, is a story for another time.
Many tales have been told about the world of Seth, and many more that are waiting to be told.

They varied in power as well, each one falling under a specific type of affinity, elemental being the most common. Despite their differences, the existence of choice was arguably false, for the dragons were all like-minded individuals, sharing a great wisdom that led many to

A Dishonest Misunderstanding
"It's here, it's here!" I shouted excitedly, running back to the living room with my parcel clutched tightly in my hands to search frantically for a pair of scissors. My parents had promised me a smartphone for my birthday if I was good, after years of wanting one, and years of being the only kid without one, and I'd been as good as gold all year. Better than I'd ever been. My birthday had come and gone two weeks ago with nothing, but they'd promised it was in the mail, and sure enough here was a phone-sized parcel with my name on it!
Finding the scissors, I tore into the packaging with fervour and swiftly uncovered...a fisher-price smartpho

Meeting at the Lake - Chapter 7
When Marely awoke, the early sunlight was shining through the door.
Wait, what? Marley blinked her eyes a few more times. That was definitely closed when I went to sleep she thought. That could only mean that Jacob had come in to check on her at some point, which made her frown. Even when she was a complete mega-bitch, he was still kind enough to check on her. She stretched a few times before standing up on the soft bed.
“J-Jacob?” she called out a few times, but there was no answer. He must have still been asleep.
How on earth will I get down? She sighed and folded her arms and slumped her head to the side – but when sh
